This year's Action Lesotho beautiful, high quality Christmas cards (pictured above) feature one of the felted wool nativity sets made by Nyenye Crafts which is a women's craft co-operative supported by Action Lesotho. The women are all grandmothers who are lifting themselves and their families out of poverty through their determination and hard work. The cards, with a seasonal greeting in English and Sesotho, are now available in packs of six cards & envelopes to buy online (see below) or by sending a cheque payable to Action Lesotho c/o Colleen O'Kane, The Craft Shop, Glengarriff Road, Bantry, Co. In 2011 Nyenye Crafts won their first export contract for the nativity sets, an achievement which garnered the group praise from the Lesotho government and the American Ambassador to Lesotho.
